Exponents

Exponents

Active and passive phrasing for powers—with worked examples.

Powers (2⁵, 10³, …) are full sentences in Kifuliiru, not a single symbol. Cardinal words come from Kifuliiru numbers. You choose active or passive voice.

Exponents on kifuliiru.com — enter 2^5, 2**5, or 2exp5.

Patterns

∑Formula
active = W(exponent) + activeVerb(exponent) + " ku " + W(base)
passive = W(base) + passiveVerb(base) + " kwohe " + connector(base) + " " + W(exponent)

Active names the exponent first, then ku and the base (different from English “two to the fifth”).

Passive names the base first, then a verb, kwohe, a connector, and the exponent.
